Well I watched Ocsar-nominated ‘Project Nim’ last night and I have to say, it really reveals the tornado doomed life of Nim. In ways, he didn’t help himself with his actions, but for all who was part of this experiment, it wasn’t a complete bad turnout. I see this as an accomplishment that it is possible to communicate with Chimpanzees via sign-language. Maybe if experiment-leader; Herb didn’t withdraw Nim from his first mother-figure, Stephanie then the turnout of Nim’s behaviour toward the end of his life may have been a different story. Nonetheless, a beautifully made film that gives the revelation of Nim’s life. carnabetianarmy: I just saw a preview for Project Nim at the theater; I have to see it!
